Off Season : Christmas Movie

This is such a lovely movie, i am truly believe that every children no matter where they come from, they would think about Santa Clause at least once. He is like an idol for many children who bring happiness to them. i think the movie try to show that how much children dreamt to meet Santa and Santa in their imagination is an old man who has beard and kind.
This movie reflects the American social a lot since it is an up to date movie i guess from their clothes, their talking style, a clear pronunciation and more. They love party.
However in this movie, i also think that parent should care about their children, they should not fight together while children can see them because it would be very bad and sorrow to see our father and mother fight together. Talking together is the best way.

Far & Away : Western Expansion

Oh my God!!! finally i got the movie i like, i remembered that i ever saw this movie once with my mother but that time i didn't know the name and i thought it was a little bit bored. The only one reason i watched is Nicole Kidman. This is the second time i watched it and it make me understand the name of this movie Far & Away.

While watching this, i perceived that social discrepancy is always be with every society like this movie the landlord who is very rich but still greedy on the other hand, the poor still have nothing. Rich people lived theird life on the suffering of others which is so mean. However i like this movie both plot and costume, the movie shows that the culture in that time is same as present, people love party drinking, flirting and making themselves happy. Some activity that i think it is illegal right now is the fight game but i am not sure about it. The transportation is was improved the ship was invented but horses still in used.

However i love this movie, it is so ramantic and lovely. i try to find this for a lone time and then i found it in your class, Thank you very much.

Red River : Western Expansion

At first, i thought this movie might be about the history or something bored but once i saw this movie i am sure that this movie is very bored lol.

Because through this movie, it is all about fighting and i think that the reason for fighting is to expand their power to have more territory. However i had noticed that about that period people become smarter and cleverer they have gun to use, their house was really the same like present easpcially the decoration. Women had more right to speak , men will go for their duty first and leave their love behind but i think it does not means that he did not love her, he just do thing for all first which is very good and impressive and i believe that this is the reason why weatern countries have such a great civilization than others in this world. i really wish that one day Thais would be like this, then our country would be better than today

Anyway, i have nothing to say much about this movie, i felt asleep while watching it.

Wind Walker

The first period of this movie is so romantic, i admired it a lot. but in the middle of the movie is like a war there are lots of fighting scene. However; its ending is so lovely.

i love the clothes of this movie especially women clothes, if we noticed they are fashionable at this period like miniskirt. In that period i also perceived that it's a hard time for women to giving birth since there was no hospital no good equipment. i think that Indian people in that period was crow because they have feather on their head. But i really don't know that why they have to fight together since they also said that they want to live peaceful. may be they have no choice so they have to. Children in that period also aimed to be a warrior they started to learn how to hunt. The man in this story also proved to me that he love his girl a lot by trying every way to protect her until she was killed by the other man and one of his son was kindnapped, he also try to take him back. i also love the way the paint their face.

One American culture that i have learnt from many stories including this is freedom of people, since they were young, they will learn everything by themselves and responsible for themselves too, which is good and it will broutght them to be a responsible person in the future.

The Far Horizon : Nation Building

About this movie, i have to say that it's a good movie but i don't believe that people from different culture can't live together like in this movie. I love costume of this movie it's so lovely.

This movie is like many of Thai story which two guys fall in love with one women. But since the man who was a map maker had to journey to make a map, he found the other Indian women and fall in love with her the girl named "Shoshone" at first she was assigned to serve the other man but she decided to run away and met the map maker. People's life in that period was very simple especially Indian people. They live in the forest as a group they were very wise also because they know hoe to make their own cloth from the animal skin. They live in a strong group in order to protect their land.

I also learnt that at that period, American was very strong, they spread their power by trying to enlarge their territory.
